Composed of a combination of diverse elements.

We are two occupational therapy students at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada who are interested in cultural and immigrant issues. The cultural background of Edmonton is a diverse one, composed of many different groups of people from all over the world. We created this webpage as a resource for students and new therapists who may be working with clients of a different culture. This webpage is also for those who wonder how OTs can fit in and better interact with or provide culturally relevant information for clients from varied backgrounds. The resources that are listed on this webpage are located in Edmonton and will not address resources throughout the rest of Alberta.
